What does turning past its sell-by date rugged disks do within power option?
Answer:
That bustle (supposedly) saves power by turning of the rotating unyielding drives in your computer. The little power they use won't retrieve much unless you're using a laptop.
the turning off concrete disks in power option is used to save power simply,as microsoft beleive leaving strong drives running uses more power than other hardware.however this is a debatable
after a verbs install of windows xp i allways set power option to monitor>never and hard drsks>never as i beleive turning rock-hard drives off cause more damage than right
good luck
It turn bad your hard disk and turn it to standby mode , it will oblige you to increase battery enthusiasm time in laptop computer and time time of your harddisk drive , if you set in for example 20 min , after 20 minutes not using intricate disk the computer turns off your not easy disk and when you need it again it turns it on , turning on knotty disk needs something like 5 seconde and make a small bottleneck ,it is useful for laptop users and those who confer on computer for some long time.
*if you have more that one unyielding drive it worth doing for one hard drive do not bother it will not collect a thing
