what almost a hard drive thats:
120GB 4200 rpm
Answer:
A 120GB 4200 RPM is a outstandingly good tough drive for a notebook. The 120GB provides you with a great volume of storage, and a big hunk of freestyle power.
I would not recommend this hard drive if you be going to play games though, as 4200 RPM's are lower speed, which while increases battery existence, isn't fast satisfactory to support some of the higher finishing games that require a fast frozen drive.
Hope this helps.

Thats OK, but 2 GB or larger is better. Unless you are getting a computer beside the new VISTA OS. You should insist on between 3 and 5 GB. the faster the "platter spin" speed the better.
i fix computers for a hobby...unless you download a MASSIVE amount of programs, most individuals wont use more than 60g
The size is fine, but the speed is slow.
Thry to get a 5400rpm or 7200rpm
I would a bit have a 100gb 5400/7200 rpm since it really affects presentation of the pc.
Also, check to see the cache size. Should be 8 mb or larger.
Here is what I vote
40 GB: rarely uses computer, if so for internet lone
80 GB: Uses computer for internet and has central programs like Word and iTunes
100-120 GB: great for relatives who use it for school
160 GB: Great for those who use it for basic element, and some advanced programs
200-300 GB: Gamer
500 GB: Gamer and Huge software user. (3D rendering, Photoshop, Programming software, etc
1024 GB (terrabyte): Server
