I hold a compaq R4000 notebook that is especially bulky and not very practical. I am looking for a exotic notbook that has adjectives of the capabilities of a dektop computer, but near the ease of travel and lightweight compatibility for a cheap price. Around $500-$600.
Any suggestions would assist greatly.

You could go to pcworld.com, they rate different products that are out thier and afford thier recomendation of what it the best one. I believe they have one on the lower price extension of laptops as well.
You could find something approaching that which is used. Unfortunately, light mass and thin finances the laptop is more expensive. If you're looking for something new within a light and wiry laptop, you'll probably shell out around a $1,000 for a good brand resembling Toshiba or Sony.
