What exactly is a wireless router? And is it solely for a laptop?

Is it a computer network device that decides where on earth data travels to subsequent?

A wireless router transmits an internet signal to an adapter on a laptop which enables it to access the internet in need having to attach any wires or cable to it...but it does have a fixed range...i'm pretty sure it lone works for laptops

Wireless routers are in actuality wired routers with wireless access points built contained by so you can have wired and/or wireless at like peas in a pod time. it is compatable with both desktops and laptops; adjectives you need is supported wireless cards. and yes it is a rough feature of a router to desire best possible route to or within a gridiron
