u can carry your laptop next to you in the flight. with the sole purpose that you cannot use it during takeoff and landing(when form belt lights are on). very uncommonly if they find it suspicious thay might want you to turn it on. flights to certain sector like jammu and srinagar and also during shelter threats don't allow anything in the cottage (not even a latop)
Nothing.dont worry. They only just scan and let you elapse if things are Ok. with Cam corder yes they ask you to shoot something and prove it is a safe little equipment. As if laptops can do no harm and its poor cousin camcorder can be loaded beside explosives...ha ha ha - Illogical but true ;-)
They will allow you to take your laptop beside you. They are only looking for explosives.
If you are carrying your nouns top in a take bag do the following:-at the surety check counter take out from your daypack and keep it seperately for screening - this will serve you to finish your securtiy check faster.
