I own a Packard Bell A8 Easynote laptop with a Philips +-RW SDVD8431 DVD drive. What types of DVD disc can I use within this drive to burn data and is within any specific program that is best for doing it?
Answer:
You can burn any DVD+, DVD-, or DVD DL medium using Nero, Roxio, or any other DVD software. But be careful just about compatibility. Most home DVD players only see the DVD- format.
you should check out this site where you can attain a sony vaio laptop for free
You Should check at it.. use ur models website
you can burn any dvd r- or dvd+ and dvd rw+/-
Since others have already answered as to what discs can be used to burn information, I will stick to the program part. You can try Nero Burning ROM. It is the best I hold used yet.
You should know how to use any if it is a DVD+/- R/RW . I usually use GQ DVD+R and DVD+RW best the are inexpensive and reliable ! I Like Nero, for burning DVD's Data or Video NEro works great with both ! Nero should know how to be found on the web I know you can download trial newspaper and it is worth buying once you try it !
