What is " Tweaking " the software?
Answer:
Tweaking routine making small changes (not purely in software but contained by anything)
Tweaking refers to fine-tuning or adjusting a complex system, usually an electronic device. Tweaks are any small modifications intended to add to a system. Tweaking can also refer to modifying someone's social behavior.
In electronics, it is a synonym for "trimming." Analog circuit boards often hold small potentiometers or other components on them that are used to calibrate or adjust the board as a service procedure: the small insulated screwdriver used to turn them is often call a "tweaker."
Microsoft products were not ever intended to connect on networks.
So, the arbitrary mtu or maximum transmit section, is set totally wrong for high speed internet nouns.
So, it must be 'tweaked' and you would use 'tweakui' program, from Microsoft web site, or within a google search, to allow you to access that software control.
I love the multi-tasking operating systems, over 400 of which are FREE to DownLoad. They in actuality come well tweaked, already.
I do know that contained by the PCGaming shoot-out, the benchtest results were that the okay tweaked XP system was upto 50 times SLOWER than the "out of the box, didn't know what we be doing, in Linux, so we freshly stuck it in in that!" Red Hat GNU/Linux.
Imagine a properly installed GNU/Linux, such as http://pclinuxos.com that is FREE!
